What is the 55 Goal?
Orignally, I had this  “ridiculously ambitious” goal to push through my self-imposed barriers and interview [One Hundred and Eleven] artists by the end of 2011. I also went niche – working solely with artists – narrowing the category from musicans, photographers, filmmakers, and models in Houston. I worked the numbers only to discover that my One-One-One goal was quite lofty and not reasonably possible. I lowered the goal to 55 – still high-reaching but actually possible – and I’m not limited to a specific end date. I will continue on with blog posts until I reach my # goal.

What is the purpose?
 The goal is to promote 55+artists and publish the results to a 4-color process book that can be sold and a % donated to a charitable cause. I’ve written several descriptions of my purpose under About, FAQ: The Pen Ya Process, and The Creative Shoot.
